Hand Painting: Every colorway is hand blended from professional dyes,
mixed and then applied with sponge paintbrushes.
Kettle dyed: The fiber or yarn is totally submerged in a kettle of professional dye and heated
Hand Dyed: Numerous techniques from pouring the dye on the splattering with professional dye
Natural Dyed: Will be any yarns or fiber dyed with natural dyestuffs, such as roots, barks, herbs, fruits, etc., these will be kettle dyed in their natural dye baths.
Inspired by fantasy and nature, all of my dyes are hand mixed and blended to produce unique shades and tones.
I use natural fibers from either plant or animal.
All hand-dyed yarns should be handled with care and washed in cool water and air-dried.
As with anything dyed, there may be some residual dye in the water when you soak or wash.
Don't worry, the item is colorfast and washable.
Just as with any colored clothing you want to last,
wash on cool, avoid high heat or vigorous scrubbing.
If you are going to use this yarn with other yarns you will want to check and wash the yarn first.
Be sure you don't have any excess dye in either yarn that may bleed onto the other.
If you need any help deciding on yarn type or color, give me a call or message,
I'm always happy to help you!
